Manuel Jakob was born in 1984 in Germany and has grown up in a small Town named Raesfeld in Northrhein Westfalia.
After he finished his School education, he worked as a Physiotherapist and as a Soccer Coach.
He is based in Germany, but he worked in foreign Countries like China as well.
His experience is based on coaching of different groups of age.
In the beginning he started with U7 and U11 of his home club. After a few Years he changed to SV Schermbeck and worked there as a Coach for the U16 / U17 and daily for different school projects of the club at an in Schermbeck based primary school.
2011 to 2013 was Manuel the assistant Coach of the U23 of Rot-Weiss Essen and won the Championship and rised up from the German Landesliga to the German Oberliga with the Team in 2013 under Head Coach Holger Stemmann.
In 2013 he changed his Club and went back to the first Team of SV Schermbeck as Physiotherapist and Goalkeeper Coach for one Season.
After it, he switched his Position to be the Head Coach of the U17 of Eintracht Erle.
In 2018 he begans to work for FC Schalke 04 for the “Knappenfussballschule“ on their Camps.
Since August 2018 is Manuel a part of the Coaching Staff from cooperation between Schalke and the Chinese Super League Club Hebei CFFC.
